So I took a mini-break from technology last week, as I get tired of looking at my computer all day long. But now I am back just in time for must-have Monday. But before I tell my choice for this week, I probably should explain the story of how this came about. Every Thanksgiving, my parents and I go to the Delta to visit my grandparents and extended family. Since I was off work last week,j I drove to Hattiesburg to meet my parents so we could all ride up together. When my dad drives, he ultimately has control of the radio. When I do try to change the channel from 60’s on 6 or Elvis Radio, he will either comment that he doesn’t understand how I can listen to the junk that I chose or he will turn it all the way down until it’s barely audible. So this trip I brought my computer so I wouldn’t have to fight the radio battle. On Elvis Radio, they play clips from Elvis’s old shows and interviews with people that were close to him. I started listening and became fascinated with the life and times of Elvis Aron Presley, from his relationship with Priscilla to his nocturnal routine. I have always been interested in biographies of older stars, like Audrey Hepburn or Natalie Wood. I borrowed Priscilla’s book about her life with Elvis (as seen under books I am reading) and am about to start reading Elvis: What Happened. Next must have in my current obsession...."Elvis by the Presleys".
So if you aren’t interested in Elvis, I encourage you to pick up any celebrity biography. They make for an interesting read!
